About the Tim Carr Group

Founded in 1989, the Tim Carr Group is a real estate management and investment firm with over 25 years of experience in both residential and commercial property management. The Tim Carr Group provides a broad spectrum of services including the management of real estate operations, acquisitions, strategic planning, profit maximization, project management, property leasing, as well as complete accounting, maintenance, and asset positioning.


The company got its start organically, with only a handful of Tim Carr’s personal properties under management. Through word of mouth and Tim’s impeccable reputation in the industry, clients asked Tim to expand his business. And, the company quickly developed a roster of properties under varying degrees of management. Since its inception, the group has continued to expand its breadth of services and now includes commercial leasing, construction management services and more.

  • FOUNDER/CEO

    Founder and President of the company that bears his name, Tim Carr, brings an unmatched level of expertise and knowledge to his property management clients. For the past 25 years, he has worked with thousands of individuals in the Coastal Orange County area, assisting them in marketing and selling their homes, rental properties and vacation rentals.


    Tim’s success is built on the cornerstones of extensive market knowledge, skillful negotiation, and strategic marketing. His vast expertise developed from his tenures at Waterfront Properties, Strada Properties and Coldwell Banker International Previews. At the heart of his business model is his passion for working with clients and his unwavering commitment to delivering on their needs and objectives. In 2013, his customer-focused work ethic led him to Villa Real Estate, the West Coast’s most technologically advanced, client-centered, and marketing-driven luxury residential real estate brokerage, as one of its founding partners.


    The success of Tim’s approach is evidenced by the fact that the majority of his practice is comprised of repeat and referral business – including that of Orange County’s top homebuilders and lenders, who rely on him to represent their properties.


    Tim holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business and often serves as a guest lecturer at NYU and Pepperdine University, where he speaks to graduate students about trends in economics, business practices, and marketing strategies. He resides in Newport Beach with his family.

    Tana’s passion and drive is key to her success in running the operations side of the business. As a full-service property management company, you can count on Tana for direct one-on-one interactions. Tana will assist you with reasonable comps in the area, and offer helpful insights to attract tenets quickly. You can also rest assured your property is rented to well qualified, highly screened, and vetted residents. Clients, investors, and homeowners appreciate Tana’s fierce dedication and willingness to always go above and beyond on their behalf.




    A California native, Tana has been local to the Costa Mesa area for more than two decades. Her expertise in the real estate market, paired with honesty, and a down to earth personality has forged many long-term relationships. Tana exceeds expectations in deadlines, which results in return business and much gratitude from clients, agents, and her team.

Sheryll has built outstanding relationships with vendors, and tenants to maintain, upgrade, design, and create living spaces that are modern, classy, comfortable, and chic.


    Born and raised in Orange County, Sheryll’s familiarity with the area is paramount in her knowledge of the local market, and trends. Sheryll lives by the motto, “People remember the way you make them feel,” so it’s essential for each interaction to leave a positive impression.

Nancy Garcia

  • OFFICE MANAGER

    With a strong background in customer service as well as a wealth of knowledge about many aspects of the construction industry, Nancy Garcia is an integral part of the Tim Carr Group Rentals team. Known for her consistently positive attitude, this Costa Mesa native has over twelve years of invaluable experience in client-facing roles. Detail oriented and an excellent communicator, Ms. Garcia’s fluency in English and Spanish is a huge asset. Drawing on her background in organization of large-scale events, Nancy is known for the ability to think on her feet. Having grown up observing the day-to-day operations of her family’s stucco company, Ms. Garcia is a well suited to deal with many aspects of the property management business. During her time off Nancy enjoys watching the sunsets Orange County is known for, weightlifting, and great food.
